So I've bought an international S7 Edge and I'm aware that it's not from my country (Australia). It's of northern Africa / Middle Eastern origin, but it was new, and unlocked, so whatever I figure it should be the exact same in whatever region, just the firmware will be different.
I'd like to change the firmware to my own country so I can use a couple of things like Samsung Pay.
My current system is:
AP: G935FXXS1APG3 - PDA
CP: G935FXXU1APEQ - PHONE / MODEM
CSC: G935FOJV1APF1 - CSC
Model: SM-G935F
I've had a look at this thread detailing stock firmware installs.
That seems pretty straightforward, and I've looked up the firmware on this site: http://ift.tt/1U6hnNk
(Is that site safe and acceptable for firmware?)
Is there anything else I need to do to swap from the north africa firmware to the australian firmware? Which seems to be PDA: G935FXXU1APF2
Do I just run odin and all my data and apps remain? Do I need to mess with modems or is that all included in the download link for the firmware?
