HMD Global launched the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, the Nokia 6.1, and the entry-level Nokia 1 in India in April. In May, the company launched the Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1, and the Nokia 2.1 budget Android One phones. The Nokia 3.1 went up for purchase in the US last month, and now, HMD Global has launched the phone in India.
The Nokia 3.1 is a budget Android phone that doesn't compete with phones such as the Oppo Realme 1, Xiaomi Redmi 5, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, and the Xiaomi Redmi Y2 in terms of specifications and value. The newly launched Nokia 6.1 Plus (the international variant of the Nokia X6) and Nokia X5 are more interesting phones, but they haven't been brought to India yet.
