Huawei Mate 8 64GB NXT-L29 Missing Billing Cycle Input Option for Traffic Reminder Setting
I just recently purchased the Huawei Mate 8 NXT-L29 for it's hardware, the Dual SIM support and the availability of 3G/LTE frequencies supported. To my horror, EMUI 4.0 was a pain to manage but what was more painful... was that when setting up Data Usage in Settings → Data Traffic Management → Traffic Reminder Settings, you are not able to enter the billing cycle day for either SIM1 or SIM2.
I tried to contact them via Huawei's official facebook page and they replied that yes, it is in Data Traffic Management. But where? Is it not there! You can set the MB/GB limit but there is no option (input box) for the billing cycle.
Now, is this an oversight, a bug or a restriction? Setting up data traffic limits for either SIM is pretty much useless without setting the billing cycle date because both SIMs' data allotment do not reset on the same day. Yes, EMUI 4.0 on this phone says Monthy... my data allotment does not reset on the 1st of each month.
Huawei, please issue an immediate fix.
