You need to have unlocked bootloader, bootloader version 4882 or higher & TWRP 2.8.6.0 recovery installed. If you dont have it follow this method : http://ift.tt/1Mz7Us4

Only then proceed further

Steps

Download the 6.0 TWRP backup files (615MB) zip from here : http://ift.tt/1Mz7Us6

Extract the contents of the zip You will see "marshmallow_titan" folder, open it & you will see "2015-11-22--20-17-22_MPB24.65-10" folder

Use ES File Manager, Go to your TWRP folder inside your Moto G2 (can be in Internal Memory or External SD Card)

Open TWRP Folder, inside it there should be a BACKUPS folder, inside it there is a folder having your Serial Number as its name.

Open that serial number folder & copy the downloaded "2015-11-2 2--20-17-22_MPB24.65-10" folder in this serial number folder
.

Finally it should look like this : TWRP > BACKUPS > Serial Number Folder > 2015-11-22--20-17-22_MPB24.65-10

Go in TWRP recovery > Backup your current ROM & kernel & go back. Wipe > Factory reset & go back.

Restore > Select the location of the downloaded backup files on the top (Internal Storage or External SD card) > Select 2015-11-22--20-17-22_MPB24.65-10 > Select > System & Boot > Restore.

After restoring go back to main menu > Reboot > System.

It will prompt to install SuperSU, select "Do Not Install"

It will take a lot of time 15-20 mins to boot completely.

Also do not try to root this 6.0 ROM by flashing SuperSU zip, rooting will lead to bootloop. Do not ROOT !
