Hello everyone, just looking for help with my AT&T LG G3. Before you say anything, yes, I did look at other forums with similar problems. Unfortunately, I could not find one with the same problem I have with my phone. (correct me if i'm wrong.) So I got my G3 last Christmas, and while it was still on KitKat, I rooted it with Stump Root. Everything was going alright, I wasn't doing anything too extreme with my root privileges. I was using SuperSU to grant access to all of my apps. It was all good until the Lollipop OTA update came around. I wasn't familiar with the issue of losing root access when doing an OTA update, so silly me, I updated my phone without unrooting or anything. Well here's where the infamous "SU binary is not installed" message comes up. I updated my phone and noticed that SuperSU was giving me this message: "There is no SU binary installed, and Super SU cannot install it. This is a problem! If you just upgraded to Android 5.0, you nee d to manually re-root-consult the relevant forums for your device.!" Iv'e looked into complicated steps of manually re rooting my device, but I don't think those are the same situations I am in. Therefore, Can somebody please, either link me to a proper instruction on how to fix my problem, or reply with an answer. I apologize if I sound like a n00b, I am fairly new to the rooting/XDA/forum concept . :)
