Op2 unable to recognizing cricket network, no talk,no data. Not working at all

2nd hand phone running stock OS. I am using a working nano sim from my lg G3 on cricket provider. If I change the stock rom for something else like CM, do you guys think is going to help. Previous owner said it was working until the last update a from December. Thank guys
