note 5 920C IMEI Unknown Water Damage Please help

I have note 5 920C 2 months old :( i purchased from samsung i , unfortunately the cell phone fell out to the toilet , I took it out quicklyI removed the back cover and unplugged the battery and let it dry in rice all the night , And in the morning the cell phone lights up and everything works fine as before , but not connect to my cellular network ,in the Settings Listed i see IMEI NULL NULL ,i do root and other rom and now sohow IMEI Unknown, what can be done to save the device can this be just software or it hardware ?
