My HTC M8 currently has android 6 and Viperrom 5.0.1 and I have an issue when connecting the phone to my PC (running windows 10, but also existed on Windows 7).
Without Xposed install I see the internal and external cards on my windows explorer.
with Xposed framework (xposed-v80-sdk23-arm.zip) install with installer XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk initially every thing is fine phone still connect to windows.
I first loaded Amplify, - Ok
Then loaded One++ calculator again Ok.
Took a TWRp nandroid backup
After about a week and a few restarts etc i no longer see the phone on the PC, phone shows USB for file transfers, windows beeps when phone connected.
Obviously thru this period I had received some software updates and taken at least one other nandroid backup at which point usb connection worked.
Restored back to last backup still no joy. cleared Dalvik - no joy. Unistalled xposed module, installer and framwork, cleared caches.
After reboot - Phone now appears on pc.
Any ideas?
